my mom sent me this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB-wUgnyGv0I'm quite amazed that my mom is so 'modern'.
and then I did the calculation of my 'RealAge' (recommended by Oprah herself)...
healthwise I'm 1.8yrs older than my age! *tears* The stuff that's making me older...
Flossing habits
Low vegetable intake
Low unsaturated fat
Lack of flexibility exercises
Workout schedule
Potassium levels
Low grain intake
Low omega-3 intake
Low fruit servings
Driving speeds
High red meat intake
Lack of daily breakfast
Blood pressure control
Calcium intake
Vitamin E intake
Have cholesterol level measured
Social network and stress
Strength training level
Too much sleep
too much sleep. oh dear. That's just recently. workout, I know, but, really, it's too cold here, I did try when I was back in Singapore. Driving?!? It's my friends who drive fast.. not me..
I'm putting this list up to remind myself too be healthy. I'll strike stuff off when I remedy them. For now I'm taking 'driving at high speeds' off. and having less than 'a pack of cards' of red meat a week? what?

today... is everyone's birthday it seems. my pastor's wife (forgot her name, but she's sweet. Pastor Brown is away on a mission trip to Paupa New Guinea though), my ex's, and ANU's 60th diamond aniversary!
yesterday... was the church's outreach prog: 'kick start life in Canberra', featuring free dinner, awesome games, and *ahem* a beautiful banner which I helped make. ^^ All that painting of banners in girl guides has made me a specialist of sorts.
from now on... I plan to use one bombastic word in every other entry. This is after discovering a new word every other page in my recent novel reading sessions. Words like 'cynosure' and 'grandiloquent'. By the way, you should read 'White Teeth' by Zadie Smith sometime. interesting and funny.
p/s: my tap isn't working properly now, it gives a slow, mind-maddening, trickle of water. my room is slowly disintegrating! not fun. I've been washing my face out of a bowl for the last few days. I must have single-handedly replenished the dams in Australia.

hi all.. sorry I haven't been blogging much these days... it's always like this. There's too much things to do in Singapore, so I don't really have the urge to post stuff when I'm at home.
plus, you guys probably know by now that I broke up with my boyfriend.. erm. It seems obvious that I should blog about it but... I honestly don't know what to say about it. It's over and that's all that matters. The why and how is pretty insignificant. Anyway, I don't quite understand it myself. The third reason why I'm not saying anything is because I gave my ex my blog address a few months ago.. so.. *ahem* I don't think he reads this but.. oh well...
next topic! I'm doing fine over here.. Canberra hasn't changed. surprise surprise! but, I've noticed some small changes in the hall here and there.
Change no. 1: no more bugs in the kitchennette! *dances a little jig*.
Change no. 2: the telephone system. I have a new number which I can't remember, and the mailbox has a password which I don't know...
Change no. 3: the network's not working! GRRRR!!! Forced to work in uni. *sob* my supply of anime is gone.
yup.. and I'm remembering the weird quirks around the hall that I didn't like but got used to, but are now glaringly obvious again after my holiday.
Quirk no. 1: the saggy springs in my bed
Quirk no. 2: the trickle of water that comes out of the lousy shower head
Quirk no. 3: the neighbours who didn't know I existed and those who just stare but don't say hi.
These things didn't happen on my old floor... but then again, I don't need to sleep with earplugs anymore, so I should be grateful.
