It was Ester's 22nd birthday party yesterday. It was heaps fun! It was raining the whole day... I had to go out in the rain to get her beautiful sliver, dangling, tear-drop/diamond shaped earrings. *pauses a moment to reflect on the beauty of the earrings* This always happens. I usually don't look at this stuff.. when I do it's for friends.. I try my best.. and get attached to them.. but I give it away anyway. The irony.

ok.. back to the party. It's the long weekend (Queen's birthday on monday), so we're allowed to set off fireworks! Since it was raining and bloody cold, this meant that we sent off Bill and Chris to do the job in the backyard, while the rest of us huddled in our jackets on the porch and shouted out encouragements. ["Is that all?" (Peta). "Hurry up!" "You could at least TRY to be faster.."] I loved the big shooting ones. I wish we could do this in Singapore, it's so pretty.

Ester loves the idea of having friends over all dressed up... so the theme of her b'day party this year was 'sleaze 'n tease'. Joe forgot about it and was left wondering for a good long time why in the world Chris was in tight shiny pants (borrowed from his sister. Can you believe it? I fitted so well.). He even asked Cannon:"What's up with the bathrobe?". hahaha. I didn't manage to be sleazy or teasey at all. Faced with the prospect of walking home in the winter cold, I didn't want to put on my hot pants or my ankle-breaking, lace tie-up, pink shoes. So, I just ended up dressed up but not dressed enough for the theme 'cos I had on conservate jeans and my sports shoes. As I told the twins:"I tried!" Actually, I managed to get a ride to and fro Bill and Ester's place... so I guess I missed my chance to be wild for a day.

Peta had a French chick look; Mel had a shiny purple, tube dress; Adel was in her Japanese school uniform; Ester was hot. Jacket without a shirt underneath, plus short skirt. all black; Bill matched Ester with a all black suit. After tequila shots, Ester exchanged tops with Peta. I didn't think she'll fit but she did, and she looked hot. Catherine Zeta-Jones hot. Ester must be the cutest drunk ever. She doesn't turn inelegent. She just becomes happy and says stuff like:" I'm a little bit bendy." with a smile on her face. hahaha.. oh, and STILL looks hot. I want to be like that. There's other's too but I'm not too sure who they are.

The highlight of the party to me, however, was their rabbit. Ee-o-gen, I think that's how they call him. German for Hunter. I've given up trying to prononouce it. I call it Rabbit. It's fur is so soft. It's so clean too. Apparently, they don't bathe it, it cleans itself and doesn't smell. It likes to lick people too. Bill says its a Rex-cross. Rexs were used in fur coats. *pang of pain* Their top fur is as dense as their fur on their bellies. Ah.. yet another thing that I became attached to but couldn't have.
